-국내외 자연미술가들과 관람객이 함께 만든 작품 창작/전시
-축제기간동안 도슨트 프로그램(작품해설) 진행  |  10.25 - 30 .13:00~ 14:00 

Creative experiments with natural materials to connect the organisms who are in death and life circle to a life of nature. 
Artists from 14 countries created and displayed ecological works all over the island. 
Audience may participate in some art works.
Docent tour is given during the festival. (13:00 – 14:00)

An exhibition of beautiful moments created by constant cycle of nature, art, and man.

예술은 자연으로부터 시작되어 다시 자연으로 스민다.
‘형상은 돌 안에 이미 있었고 나는 불필요한 부분을 제거할 뿐’이라는 미켈란젤로의 말처럼, 숲에서의 예술활동은 자연에서 나온 형상들과 아름다움을 끌어내어 눈에 보이는 작품으로 만들어내는 것이다.
숲 속의 온도와 습도와 시간의 변화 속에서 시시때때로 변하는 자연물의 형상과 색, 냄새, 촉감, 그 생성과 변화와 소멸까지도 모두 작품의 일부이다. 
나무는 나무의 얼굴을 가졌고, 나뭇잎은 태양의 빛을 벅찬 색감으로 고스란히 품고있다. 
나무와 흙과 돌과 풀의 정령들은 예술가들이 빚어낸 형상 속에서 모습을 가진다.
나무 둥치의 눈과 입이 되고 그루터기의 표정이 되고 고목은 한 순수한 동물의 생명을 얻는다.
자연과 예술과 인간의 끊임없는 순환이 만들어내는 아름다운 순간이 있는 그대로의 전시회가 된다.
세계 15개국 50여명의 자연미술가들이 제월섬에 사는 숲의 정령들을 불러낸다.
생태친화적인 다양한 미술작품을 창작하여 섬 곳곳에 설치하여 마치 자연의 일부인 듯 전시가 이루어진다.
국내외 자연미술가들과 더불어, 숲을 찾은 관객들이 함께 만드는 작품은 자연과 나누는 순수한 대화처럼 반짝거린다

Art comes from nature and goes back to nature.
“He was already in stones, I just removed unnecessary rocks and found him.” said Michelangelo. Like he said, natural art is just to draw out beauty from where it exists hidden inside nature. 
All the changes and extinctions of nature caused by temperature and humidity as times passes, such as shapes, colours, smells, senses are parts of the works. Tree has its own face, and leaves embrace the their colours painted by the sun. Souls of plants are able to have their shapes by artist’s hand. Trunk has got an eye and mouth to display face of stump and the tree becomes a pure spirit as a creature. 
Endless circulation between nature, arts and man makes an exhibition cherishing every moment of it.
50 artists from 15 countries brought all souls of woods living in Jewol island. 
All the works are displayed as a part of ecological environment of the island. 
With the visitors, the art works will be shining as it is given a life from a conversation with people.
