자연 예술가, 설치 예술가 Natural Artist, Installation Artist

작가는 자연에서 영감을 받고 자연과의 연장선에서 사고한다. 
자연의 생명력에 예술의 생명력을 이음으로써 낯설지 않은 ‘새로움’을 창작하고 있으며, 작품 내면의 온화함과 대지의 모성을 빛과 공기로 담아내는 따뜻한 작업을 보여주고 있다. 
이번 프로젝트에서는 자연 환경을 보호하기 위한 테마로 제월섬의 자연 소재들에 개념을 부여하고 이를 매체로서 작업에 초대한다. 
자보 레카는 Transylvanian Art Center에서의 첫전시를 시작으로 헝가리 부다페스트, 이란 테헤란 등에서 개인 전시를 가졌으며 한국, 인도, 이란, 몽고, 이태리, 루마니아, 리투아니아, 헝가리 등에서 대지예술, 설치미술로 작품이 초대되었다. 
She is inspired by nature and in an extension to nature.
By connecting the vitality of nature to the vitality of art, she creates a "newness" that is not unfamiliar, and shows a warm work that captures the inner gentleness and the motherhood of the earth with light and air.
Starting with the first exhibition at the Transilvanian Art Center, she held private exhibitions in Budapest, Hungary, Tehran, and participated in land art and installation art in Korea, India, Iran, Mongolia, Italy, Romania, Lithuania, and Hungary.

The artist is pioneering the world of land art and fashion design using various natural resources. Materials that can contain the culture and characteristics of locality are turned into art by her hands.

Fodor Réka (헝가리 / 루마니아)

Réka Fodor는 트란실바니아 출신의 가수, 댄서, 타악기 연주자이다. 
전통적이고 고대적인 방식과 현대적 기법들을 융합하며 자신만의 색이 짙은 작품활동을 펼치고 있다. 
환경과 자연의 소리, 인간의 경험, 연결 작업, 움직임에서 영감을 받아 공간과 소리의 관계를 탐구한다. 
그녀는 음악을 통해 마음의 표현방식들을 찾으며 궁극적으로 함께 건강하고 아름답게 삶을 연주할 수 있도록 안내자로서의 역할도 하고 있다.
레카의 예술교육에는 자기발견의 기쁨이 있다.

She is engaged in her own colorful activities by combining traditional and ancient methods and modern techniques.
Inspired by the sound of the environment and nature, own experience and movement, she explores the relationship between space and sound.
She also serves as a guide to find ways to express her mind through music and to live ultimately health and beautiful enough.

Fujieda Mushimaru(일본)

부토 아티스트 Butoh Artist
자연육체시인, 몸으로 자연의 시를 쓰는 부토 아티스트
Natural physical poet, Butoh artist who writes poems of nature with his body

1952년 일본 아이치현에서 태어난 무시마루 후지에다는 돗토리 대학 수의과를 다니면서 연극 활동을 시작했다. 1972년에 드라마를 시작해서 ‘Ishin-ha’라는 극단에서 1978년부터 89년까지 활동. 1989년에 독립적으로 활동하기 시작한다. 이후부터 독립 퍼포머로 활동하면서 일본 전역은 물론 세계를 무대로 공연을 시작했다. 뉴욕에서 시인 알렌 긴즈버그(Allen Ginsberg)로부터 극찬을 받은 후로, 무시마루는 스스로를 ‘자연육체시인’이라고 이름 짓고 그만의 독특한 스타일의 부토 작품을 만들어왔다.

1997년도 도비타 드라마 어워즈에서 ‘최고의 즉흥 무용’ 부분에서 상을 받았다. 오사카와 간자이 지방의 교토를 중심으로 하는 극적 표현주의 퍼포머 중 무시마루는 가장 왕성한 활동을 하는 작가이다. 그의 작품은 ‘자연의 시’라는 그만의 신체적 표현이 주를 이룬다. 뿐만 마이라 제작자로서 "Art Batle A-Un-Gi", "Moonlight Celebration", "Chance Operation", "Asian Performing Arts Now" 등과 같은 수많은 행사를 기획 및 연출했다.

쿠바, 오스트리아, 테네리프 출신의 보컬리스트이자 안무가, 연극 공연자, 시각 예술가, 보컬 코치이다. 쿠바 하바나의 수페리오르 인스티투토 델 아르떼를 졸업했으며, 인도 케랄라 카타칼리 메리 학교, 코펜하겐 이스타, 쿠바의 국립발레학교, 쿠바 하바나의 국립연극학교를 졸업했다.

IMRE BERZE(헝가리/ 루마니아)

현실의 추상화, 개념적 아이디어의 비유적 표현을 작품의 모티브로 한다.
신성하고 신비한 상징성을 작품에서 중요하게 생각하며 유토피아적인 상태, 보편적인 순수함을 나타내는 흰색 컬러에 강한 매력을 느낀다. 또한 기하학적 형태와 유기적 형태의 조화로운 조합을 연구하고 있으며 전통적인 민속 건축, 목공예 기술, 그리고 이런 문화에서 비롯된 고풍스러운 활동들에서 많은 영감을 받는다.
The abstraction of reality and the figurative expression of conceptual ideas motivate him.
He thinks sacred and mysterious symbolism is important in his work, and feels a strong attraction to the white color that represents utopian state and universal purity. He also studies a harmonious combination of geometric and organic forms and is highly inspired by traditional folk architecture, woodworking techniques, and antique substances stemmed in these cultures.

Jarmo Vellonen (핀란드)

1958년 핀란드 Sääminki 출생
핀란드 포르보에서 거주하며 작업하고 있다. 
핀란드 아카데미 조소과를 졸업 후 순수예술가로 활동 중이다. 

작가는 자신의 작업을 ‘프로세스 아트‘라 부른다.
그것은 모든 작품의 주제가 자연에서 비롯되며 핀란드에서 전해 내려오는 숲과 생명에 대한 신화에서 영감을 얻는 것, 그리고 모든 작품은 다시 자연으로 돌아가기 때문이다. 자연의 주기에 따라 작품은 자연스럽게 변하고 또 소멸되어 간다. 
이번 작품에서도 적합한 나무와 장소를 찾아 숲의 점토를 이용해 나만의 신비한 숲의 이미지를 만들 것이다.

Fine Artist from Porvoo, Finland

It is called 'process art'.
It's because the theme of all works comes from nature and is inspired by the myths about forests and life handed down in Finland, and all works go back to nature. According to the cycle of nature, the work changes and disappears naturally.
This work is found and created from the best tree in the best place to represent the mystery of forest.
(Process art; a trend in conceptual or installation art that arose in the late 1960s. It is an anti-civilized and anti-capitalist art that expresses mother nature as a material and demolishes it after exhibition for a certain period of time)

"모든 작품에는 접착제가 사용되지 않습니다. 조각에 사용된 재료가 모두 자연으로 돌아가는 것이기에. 모든 작품의 지속 기간은 기상 조건에 따라 결정됩니다."
It doesn’t use any adhesive material. The idea is that the material used for the sculpture returns to its natural cycle. The lifetime of each sculpture is decided by the prevailing weather conditions.

Kharag Penpa (티벳)

티벳 전통음악, 춤, 오페라 공연예술가, 뮤직 프로듀서, 작곡가로 활동한다. 
평화를 노래하는 뮤지션으로, 티벳의 전통공연예술의 형식에 음악적 경계를 넘나드는 실험으로 월드뮤직 세계를 넓혀가고 있다. 
A traditional Tibetan musician, dancer, opera performance artist, music producer, and composer.
As a peace-singing musician, he is expanding his music world through experiments that cross musical boundaries by performing traditional Tibetan arts.

티벳전통공연예술가인 카락 뺀빠는 인도 다람살라의 티벳국립전통공연예술대학교를 수석 졸업했다.
현재 티벳뮤직레이블 ‘카락 스튜디오’ 대표이자, 티벳전통예술문화원 ‘카락 인스티튜트’ 대표로 뮤직 프로듀서로 활동 중이다. 
카락 뺀빠는 공연을 통해 한국과 세계에 티벳 음악과 문화를 지속적으로 널리 알려왔으며 티벳 전통음악, 춤, 오페라 공연예술가, 뮤직 프로듀서, 작곡가로 활동한다. 
티벳 전통공연예술을 뿌리로 현대의 뉴에이지, 명상음악, 레게, 재즈, 국악과의 크로스오버, 티베탄 팝 장르 등 다양한 음악적 경계를 넓혀가는 시도를 통해 세계 속 새로운 티벳문화의 흐름을 만들며, 한국과 세계의 월드뮤직 장르의 다양화에 기여하고 있다. 음악을 통해 함께 평화롭고 아름다운 삶을 나누어 가고자, ‘평화,치유,사랑,자연과 자유’등을 위한 공연들에 참여하고 있다.

Redetzki Adrian (독일)

Abstract

My paintings, sculptures and their installations act as an atmospheric condensation of alienation and familiarity, distance and closeness, information and reflection. I use common approaches, designs and patterns of the media culture and advertising industry to reflect a feeling of visual and sensual consumption. An approach can be a material object, or a process, or a structure, or a situation, wherever a visual context seems inherent in a convergence between information and aesthetic. During dealing in these image creation processes, my artistic action, my intuitive movement is constantly in selfquestioning and documents the inner state at this moment. 
Within these reflection of artistic work I question and analyze possible questions about artistic practice, intention, attitude, distance, imitation, transfiguration and self- presentation. An important part of my work is to examine these means, in that the images can not only be used as a representative manipulative experience by signaling and evoking something inaccessible, but appear accessible to the recipients own experience and interest, physically as mentally. 
My works consciously use a visual stimulus in order to experience, recognize and enjoy themselves as ambivalent friction surfaces in a given situation. Starting from mediabound, insubstantial "fleeting" images that no longer appear usable due to their abundance and nervousness, I develop a process of image disassembly. For me, the picture is understood here as a possible universal formation with the help of a pictorial understanding of composition, color, surface and pattern. A state of concentration and communication, the 
mental image, seems to be attainable again.

Saskia Edens (스위스)

퍼포먼스 아티스트 Performance Artist

이번 프로젝트에서 사스키아의 다양한 퍼포먼스 작품은 영상으로 표현된다. 
자연과 하나 되기를 열망하는 작가의 실험적인 자연주의 작업세계는 다양한 비주얼로 예술가의 본질적 철학세계를 잘 보여준다. 
She presents the experimental performance aspiring to be one in nature. You would be dragged into artistic authenticity and into the meaning behind.



A breath of life. If a thread running through it all were to be unwound, that would be it. With"Breath" Saskia Edens proposes just that, a mixture of breaths, in pairs- the breathing makes smallholes in a sheet of ice which she carries around from person to person. 
The slowly melting ice generates the potential of physical contact between the artist and the visitors. Flora's mouth exhales flowers, Fafner's jaws breaths fire, and water springs up from Boboli's gargoyles. 
This is a breath of life, but also a journey across worlds - the eras of ice, fire and metal. 
Edens is one ofthose rare beings capable of combining grace and energy, violence and poetry. Her performances are statements of the transformation of both matter and the body, and in a sense they parallel the world of scientific experiments where the final result is never conclusively established. We discover
the magic of metamorphosis. At the start of "A contra courant" , 2007-2010, Edens enters calm and composed, dressed in white and wearing earrings and necklaces. Twenty minutes later, she looks more like Mary Wigman (1886-1973) in her famous witch's dance, except that she is no longer wearing any jewellery (it has all melted), and her clothing is stained with a wash of red and blue ink.
During this time she has been running backwards on a treadmill, a dangerous exercise requiring stamina and endurance but also bringing joy. The same applies to the incredible piece, Make-up, 2008, in which, before embarking on a dance macabre, Edens literally paints her body in intaglio, leaving the skin to be viewed as the skeleton.

Sato Yukie(일본)

일본 출신의 독립 음악가이다. 주로 한국의 홍대 앞에서 활동하고 있으며, 일본인으로 구성된 밴드 곱창전골(コプチャンチョンゴル)의 리더이다. 매달 전위 음악가들을 초청, '불가사리'라는 즉흥 음악 연주회를 이끌어왔다. 
He is an independent musician from Japan. He is mainly performing in Hongdae in Korea and is the leader of the Japanese band Gopchang Hot Pot. He has invited avant-garde musicians every month and led an improvisational music concert called "Starfish."

신중현과 엽전들의 1집 음반(1974) 중 '미인'을 접하고 강렬한 충격을 받았으며 곧 한국 락 음악을 연구하기 시작했다. 1995년 8월, 한국에서 '사토 유키에와 곱창전골'을 결성하며 본격적인 한국에서의 무대활동을 시작했으며 이대 창단 멤버 중에는 현재 장기하와 얼굴들에서 활동하고 있는 하세가와 요헤이(長谷川陽平)도 있었다.

Stefano Devoti (이탈리아)

작가는 서로 다른 예술적 행위의 특징들이 경계를 넘어 새로운 시도와 창의적 발상으로 연결되는 것을 중요하게 생각한다. 채석장, 주물공장, 인쇄소, 목공소 등에서 각각의 스킬을 연마한 것은 예술의 경계를 허물고 자유로운 시도와 다양한 작품 구현을 위해서였다. 
학제간 연구 또한 이러한 맥락으로 미술작업을 확장하고 있다.
2005년 이후로는 유럽과 아시아 문화, 또 자연에 관심을 기울이며 대지예술 작업을 해오고 있다. 이번 작업에서는 보편적인 예술행위의 범주를 넘어 자연과 예술의 일치를 시도한다. 
The artist considers it important that the characteristics of different artistic acts cross boundaries and lead to new attempts and creative ideas. The practice of each skill in quarries, casting factories, printing shops, and woodworking shops was to break down the boundaries of art, to try freely in the form of art.
Since 2005, he has been working on land art in European and Asian culture and nature. In this work, he tries to match nature and art beyond the boundary of universal art.
