모든 접촉은 흔적을 남깁니다.
내 손으로 직접 나무에 반복되는 접촉을 통해 손 도장이 앙상블을 만들어 냅니다. 오로지 신체와 자연 염료만을 사용했습니다. 손바닥과 손가락의 자국이 나무의 껍질이 되어줍니다.
손 도장을 남기는 과정은 매우 직관적이고 순간적이지만, 시간을 초월하여 선사시대의 예술을 떠오르게 만듭니다. 
작품의 제목 ‘탄소 손도장’은 친환경 탄소 발자국와 반대되는 개념으로, 환경에 미치는 영향을 다시 생각하게 만듭니다. 
예술과 연결되고 관계를 맺는 과정을 예술적으로 접근하여, 나 자신이 자연이 된다는 경험과 생각을 향해 나아가게 됩니다. 


Each contact leaves a trace.
By repeated gestures of direct contact of my hands with the trees I have constituted a painting ensemble. By using only and simply the body and natural pigments, the hands and fingers imprints become visible on the bark of a group of trees.
The process of imprinting is direct and instantaneous and yet it also transcends time through a wink to prehistoric art. 
The title refers to the Carbon Handprint which is the opposite of environmental Footprint, that is the ability to have a positive impact on its environment. 
Through my artistic approach I seek a deep relationship with nature in order to connect with it, which is the first step towards considering and experiencing that we are ourselves nature.
