한국실험예술정신(Korea Performance Art Spirit)은 실험예술가 김백기 작가를 중심으로 여러 장르간의 자유로운 소통과 교감을 통해 실험예술의 발전적 교두보를 마련하고자 2000년 3월 결성된 다양한 장르의 아티스트 네트워크 단체이다.  동시대 문화예술의 확장성과 실험성을 화두로 다양한 장르간 결합을 통한 총체적인 성격의 퍼포먼스를 소개해왔으며 자연, 우주의 섭리, 인간 삶의 근원적 문제들을 통찰하는 작업철학을 추구한다. 

가장 대표적인 활동으로는 2002-2013년까지 서울 홍대를 중심으로 펼쳐진<한국실험예술제>와 2014-2019년 <제주국제실험예술제>, 2021년부터 곡성으로 자리를 옮겨 <섬진강국제실험예술제>를 20년째 주최, 주관하고 있다.

 2006년, “자연과 예술의 교감-로하스”를 주제로 한국문화예술위원회 다원예술축제 부분 ‘올해의 예술상’을 수상하여 예술의 독창성과 가능성을 인정받은 바 있으며, 2007년에는 국내외 10여 개국 이상이 참여하는 축제로 성장, 명실상부한 국제 규모의 예술축제로 자리매김하게 되었다. 현재는 전남 곡성 섬진강 일대를 기반으로 한국 실험예술의 우수성을 세계 각지의 예술인들에게 알리기 위한 네트워크 구축 및 국제교류 활동을 다각도로 펼치고 있으며 자연친화적인 생태주의 예술과 삶 속의 예술을 지향하는 활동들을 펼쳐가고 있다. 

KoPAS는 창단 이래 복합문화예술 애호층의 저변확대를 위한《하우스예술파티》개최 및 퍼포먼스와 멀티미디어 를 결합한 이미지 총체극 “미몽(Mystery Dream)” "더 서클" 등의 발표를 통해 동시대 문화예술의 개척자로서 그 역할을 담당해 왔으며, 한국의 퍼포먼스아트 40년 역사를 집대성한 국내 최초 퍼포먼스학술자료집 <한국의 퍼포먼스 아트 1967-2005>(2005)외 미디어북 등 총 12종 발간 등 매년 예술현장의 기록과 학술DB 구축에도 지속적인 노력을 기울여왔다. 

Korea Performance Art Spirit is an organization, established in March 2000 by an experimental artist Kim Baek-ki, presents a venue for a developmental experimental art between artists of various genres. KoPAS pursues ark work to insight the fundamental problems in human life, order of university and nature and overall performances combining different genres with outstanding experimental and expanding features of contemporary culture and arts. 
The main activities of KoPAS were <Korea Experiment Arts Festival(KEAF)> from 2002 to 2013 based in Hongdae, Seoul and <Jeju International Experiment Arts Festival(JIEAF)> from 2014 to 2019 based in Jeju island, and <Seomjingang International Experiment Arts Festival(SIEAF)> having been held since 2021 based in Gokseong-gun.
In 2006, KoPAS won an award This Year’s Arts in Dawon Arts Festival held by Korean Culture and Arts Committee under the theme of communication between art and nature, LOHAS. In 2007, the experiment arts festival was developed collaborating with over 10 countries and known as an global festival. It has settled in Gokseong, Jeollanam-do currently based in Seomjingang river, the best place to display natural art with well preserved ecology and be bridge for artists domestic and overseas. 
KoPAS has been a pioneer in the contemporary cultures presenting Mystery Dream, the overall image displaying multimedia and performances and hosting <House Arts Party> to expand the maniac for multi cultural arts since founded.
